Mark Gjerek
Mark has been a driving force in Australia’s transport decarbonisation for nearly two decades. His career has spanned the auto industry (Toyota), the truck industry (Volvo), NSW government, and 15 years working as an advisor to fleets, government, and industry to reduce truck emissions here and overseas.
He founded MOV3MENT Consulting 10 years ago to accelerate adoption of zero emission vehicles and fuels. Since then, his team has published landmark reports, developed national rating schemes, accelerated policy reforms, built education campaigns, and paved the way for dozens of companies unsure about the EV future.

Rainer Knobloch
Rainer is co-Founder of NewVolt Infrastructure, an Australian company building the country's first shared-use, open-access electric truck charging network. He leads NewVolt's strategic development, network planning and technology engagement, with a mission to make electric trucks the lowest-cost way to move freight in Australia.
He is currently delivering Stage 1 of the NewVolt Network, a Melbourne charging hub network supported by a $25.3 million ARENA grant. Rainer has also led the development of NewVolt's Hume Highway corridor strategy, helping position Australia within the Global Green Road Corridors initiative and championing industry-wide collaboration to accelerate freight electrification.

Chief Operating Officer | O’Brien’s LogisticsDavid Coleman
David is Chief Operating Officer of O’Brien Logistics, an Albury-Wodonga based transport, warehousing, and supply chain business with operations across eastern Australia. He brings deep experience across road, port, marine, aviation, and intermodal freight, and has spent more than a decade helping fleet operators and major customers reduce costs and emissions through practical freight decarbonisation strategies, including fuel efficiency, low-emission vehicles, emissions reporting, and technology transition planning.
Rebecca Wilson
General Manager Energy Business Solutions | AMPOLRebecca Wilson is the General Manager Energy Business Solutions at Ampol, where she leads the development of strategy and products and services for our commerical customers across Australia and New Zealand as they look to transition to lower carbon alternatives. With extensive business transformation and infrastructure sector experience, Rebecca has been at the forefront of developing and scaling electric vehicle charging solutions, including initiatives focused on both heavy transport and lighter commercial fleets. She brings a customer-led mindset to the energy transition and a practical perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing operators as they look to transition from diesel to electric vehicles.

Project Estimator in JET Charge’s Major Projects team, specialising in truck and commercial fleet electrification. supporting fleet operators from concept and feasibility through to delivery and ongoing operations. With more than 10 years’ electrical experience, including a trade background as an electrician and electrical estimator, I bring practical technical insight to solution design, project costing and the fleet transition.

Andy Divall is the owner and Managing Director of Divall’s Earthmoving and Bulk Haulage, a company he established in 1991 with his brother Michael. Andy has diversified the Goulburn-based company’s operations to meet the needs of the local community and strives to retain local staff by offering wide-ranging and professional opportunities. Divall’s Earthmoving & Bulk Haulage now employs over 300 people, and is a major contributor to the local economy.

Chris Brooks
Category Manager, Road Logistics | BlueScope SteelBringing more than 30 years of experience across logistics, transport, and service-based industries, Chris’s career spans multi-modal freight solutions, port operations, warehousing and distribution, transport equipment design, and strategic procurement.
In his current role, Chris leads the management of BlueScope Steel's Australian road freight network, overseeing a transport task of approximately two million tonnes annually. He is recognised for his expertise in transport equipment solutions, regulatory compliance, and carrier management, working closely with industry partners to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable freight outcomes.
With a strong focus on the future of freight, Chris is committed to advancing sustainable transport solutions that support operational performance while addressing evolving supply chain, environmental, and regulatory challenges. His extensive industry knowledge and practical experience position him as a respected voice on freight efficiency, transport innovation, and supply chain resilience.

Head of Sustainability | Toll GroupChris Leat leads sustainability strategy at Toll Group, one of Australia's largest logistics and freight providers.
He works across fleet decarbonisation, energy transition and customer partnerships, helping shape the practical pathway to lower-emission freight operations. Chris is closely involved in Toll's investment in electric heavy vehicles, charging infrastructure and the development of sustainable logistics solutions that balance commercial performance with environmental outcomes.
At Regional Futures: In Focus, Chris will share firsthand insights into the opportunities and challenges of transitioning large freight fleets to electric vehicles.
Emma Jones
Emma Jones is an experienced facilitator, strategist and transformation leader who helps organisations align around complex challenges and turn ambitious ideas into action.
As GHD's Enterprise Co-Creation Lead, she works with industry, government and community stakeholders to build consensus, unlock collaboration and deliver practical outcomes across decarbonisation, infrastructure and regional development.
Emma has led several industry-first collaborative initiatives, including the ICMM Charge On Innovation Challenge and the establishment of the CharIN Mining Interoperability Taskforce, bringing together mining companies, OEMs and technology providers to accelerate mining fleet electrification. She has also worked with industry, government and communities across Northeast Victoria, the Hunter Region and regional South Australia to identify and activate new economic opportunities arising from the transition to decarbonised and circular economies.
Based in Wangaratta, Emma is passionate about the role regional communities will play in Australia's energy and industrial transformation.
